- The steering wheel is tilt only.
- The gearing is too short.
- Ultra cramped engine bay.
- Awkward truck space.
- Rear visibility is shit.
- Rear turn signal is a combination bulb.

Jeep XJ- Slow, noisy, gutless, made of tinfoil, cramped interior
Jeep WJ- Luxury SUV made by cash-strapped Chrysler... ‘nuff said.
2016 Rav 4 (wife’s)- Everything. Absolutely everything.
‘57 Stude- I hate that it’s not roadworthy yet. Also, Luxury car made by failing company... corners were cut. But it adds character.

I never had an issue with any of that. the cold/hot this is taken care of after a few moments. my thing is I am a smoker, cloth holds smell and ash. it also stains and requires more work to keep clean.

02 Xterra: Slow, terrible fuel mileage, speakers vibrate the trunk section, transversely mounted V6 is a pain to work on, clutch pedal sticks and has to be pulled up with my foot in cold weather.
‘77 124 Spider: Windshield wiper motor is pathetically weak, car is a pain in the ass to align and has a little thrust-angle misalignment, clutch exhibiting quite a bit of chatter (especially in reverse), weatherproofing/trim rattle over bumps, no power to stereo, ventilation system only runs warm, every job requires buying a specialty tool to complete, so tiny it’s basically invisible to SUVs so I’m paranoid while driving...

-The paint quality is terrible.
-The roof sheet metal is paper thin.
-It needs a subwoofer.
-It needs a rev limiter, not a fuel cutoff.
-The rear motor mount is shit.

Even as a non-smoker, cloth holds everything. It’s harder to clean, and we are worse than leather provided you treat it every once and a while.

1998 355 F1. In this order:
1. Annoying F1 clutch warm-up time (can’t really drive for 2 minutes after a cold start)
2. Low roof: I have to drive super reclined.
3. Long door and wide door sill: getting in and out is a pain in my garage, and pretty much requires window down
4. Suspension is soft by modern sports car standards
5. Driver’s side window weather seal has a small leak
6. General scared-of-what’s-gonna-break-next feeling typical of old exotic cars
And on your points, I hate combination bulb rear signals. They have the worst visibility ever.
IMO turn signals should always be amber and at least a separate bulb from brakes.

- Temp gauge and fuel gauge (along with all the warning lights) are in the center of the dash and not on the column with the Tach
- It has 0 torque and power below 2000rpm
- The ECU freaks the hell out when you try to creep along below 8 mph
- the clutch pedal is slippery as hell when your shoes are wet
- 75 mph is over 3500 rpm
- sometimes the teeth for reverse don’t line up right and you have to let the clutch out before trying again.
- the cupholders are tiny

Even worst Nissan could have used 2 bulb system. The 2 “blocks” in the tail lights. The out side block is Turn Signal, illuminated when head lights on. The inside block only lights up when the brakes are applied.
The good thing is 2015 update brought in new tail lights and are very easy swap (they also look way better).

‘03 325xi wagon
-It doesn’t have an M3 drivetrain
-Rain sensor is garbage
-I can’t disable AWD for the 98% of the time I don’t need it
-5th gear is weirdly hard to engage.
-BMW stigma despite being worth less than most cars driven by most people I know
‘07 X3
-It just... doesn’t feel like my E46. Like I can tell it wasn’t built to the same standards. Still a good car more or less, but I just can’t bring myself to love it like I do the E46.
-The sunroof. My wife bumped her head on it ONCE, gently, and we had to pay a shop about $1,500 to remove the entire headliner and a whole bunch of parts because they only come as a “kit” ... yeah.
1961 Ford F100
-Nothing. It’s perfectly imperfect. It has no features, so there’s nothing to complain about.
-I guess it’s annoying that you can’t really control the heat (temp) from inside the cab.

Renegade:
Seats get uncomfortable after about an hour (37 mile daily commute including waiting for my wife means my ass is sore by the time I get home)
Wind noise on par with my wife’s old New Beetle convertible.
Engine runs rough until it’s warmed up. Noticeable lunging when AC is on and engine’s cold. It all smooths out when it’s up to temperature
Stereo could be a bit better
Black cloth seats love to attract stains of all kinds.

I’ll stick with things that were like that from the factory versus things that are broken:
2017 Grand Cherokee Summit: Back seat ingress/egress is not easy. If the car is dirty, it’s almost impossible to get out without getting your pants dirty.
2016 Ram Rebel: Rotary shifter. Why can’t I have a normal shifter? specifically the one from the Rebel TRX4 concept. that looked awesome. Also, while I like the styling quite a bit, if you look at the truck it seems that the front end and the cab were designed by different people.
2016 IS350 F-Sport AWD: There is a hump in the left side floor pan to provide clearance for the front driveshaft. In Japan, this is not really an issue. In the US this results in a rather awkward driving position. your calf ends up laying on the hump in order to reach the gas pedal.
2011 Charger R/T: no manual option, no paddle shifters
2011 Wrangler: horribly underpowered, zippers on windows stick, having to remove windows to put top down. Why can’t we have a real convertible top?
2006 Ram 1500: Actually, my only complaints are just how this particular truck is optioned. No limited slip and no sliding back window. Other than that, it was a rather nice truck (when it was new). Now ask me about how it’s held up after 10 years and 100k miles...

Five-speed Honda automatic upshifts early, likes to hunt around. Steady acceleration up a gentle hill leads to the following shift pattern:
1-2-3-2-3-4-3-4-5
I actually miss the derpy single-clutch automated manual from my Smart. =(

- Seatbelt chime stays on for an annoying amount of time
- No auxiliary input
- Ride quality*
- It’s auto**
*I need new tires, so ride quality can’t be properly known until I get tires
**While commuting, and most of the time I’m in town with its abysmal traffic, I’m glad it’s auto. Out of town I want it to be standard.

-The window crank is right where my leg rests against the door panel
-No armrest (this is being remedied with a 60-40 split bench with a folding arm rest soon... hopefully)
-Shifter throws are laughably long (Short shifter coming soon)
-Brake pedal squeaks when you press it and no amount of grease will fix it
-Blackwall tires instead of OWL (fixing this once the actually quite excellent Firestones are worn out)
-Wiper motor sometimes stops the wipers in the middle of the windshield after doing a single wipe
-First gear is USELESS for anything except lighting up tires
-Writing is coming off the combination stalk (on a GM vehicle? nooo)

My car came with an option package called the “Canada Package”.
It was built in Canada .
The main feature after stickers, Is Leather seating.
You know what isn’t in the “Canada Package”????
Remote start, heated seats, you know, use full things in CANADA.....
